The Euro 2016 has been a real surprise; it has brought us tons of events none expected. On this short article we are going to review the most relevant cases. We are just waiting for the 30th so Quarter-final can begin. This stage is guarantying us a lot of emotion and awesomeness, because again, this Euro has escaped the ordinary, and has brought us a different and extraordinary show! If you want to check an even more detailed analysis, you should look forward to looking at spurs input into the euros.
Iceland: The Great Surprise
For real, none expected Iceland to defeat England. This is a country that has more volcanoes than football players! And their coach is a part-time dentist. So, none expected this 300k-habitants country to defeat a real football legend like England. But the impossible has happened, and it’s been in the Euro 2016!
Now Iceland, after defeating 2-1 to England, has to face France in order to get its pass to the semi-final. Their players have shown to have what’s needed to defeat giants: they have courage and are ready to give it all in the field. It’s something that had not been seen in a long time, and we are grateful that Iceland has brought to this Euro this amazing feeling.
The team never gives up and seems like they have little to no fear to these legends of soccer. Now we have to see how they will do against France, but we hope they obtain a favorable result!
Poland: A Fiery Rival
Now they have to face Portugal. So far now CR7 has not shown its real talent, but we sincerely hope that he wakes up and shows Poland what he’s made of. Because this match is not going to be an easy deal. The Poland vs Portugal match will be a hell of entertainment, and we hope to see CR7 in a better condition and doings the magic he’s used to do in the Real Madrid.
What’s Up CR7?
One of the things that has generated a lot of surprise is CR7’s attitude. He has not shown us his magic so far now, and this is kind of worrying. Against Croatia he didn’t do that much to amaze us, but we sincerely hope he does it against Poland, because this team is going to be a lot more challenging than Croatia’s.
With the recent victory of Italy against Spain for a 2-0, we have the teams ready for the Quarter-final, which beings on 30th June. This is going to be full of energy, awesomeness and soccer! None has its seat secured and Iceland has proven it to us. Let’s enjoy the rest of the Euro 2016!
